For continuing Officers in the Iſle of Man.

GEORGE R.

WHERE AS An Act of Parliament, made in the
laſt Seſſion of Parliament, intituled,
" An Act for carrying into Execu-
" tion a Contract made, purſuant
" to the Act of Parliament of the Twelfth of
" His late Majeſty King George the Firſt, be-
" tween the Commiſſioners of His Majeſty's
" Treaſury and the Duke and Dutcheſs of
" Atholl, the Proprietors of the Iſle of Man,
" and their Truſtees, for the Purchaſe of the
" ſaid Iſland and its Dependencies, under certain
" Exceptions therein particularly mentioned;"
it is enacted, That from and immediately after
the Payment into the Bank of England, by Us,
Our Heirs, or Succeſſors, in the Names of John
Duke of Atholl, and Charlotte Dutcheſs of
Atholl his Wife, Sir Charles
Frederick, Knight of the moſt Honourable Or-
der of the Bath, and Edmund Hoſkins, Eſquire,
or the Survivors or Survivor of them, of the
Sum of Seventy Thouſand Pounds, on or before
the Firſt Day of June in the Year of Our
Lord One thouſand ſeven hundred and ſixty
five, the Iſland, Caſtle, Peel, and Lordſhip of
Man, and all the Iſlands and Lordſhips to [obscured]
