That your Petit^rs were ordered as Guard by the Coron^r
of Middle Sheading to bring one Alice Crain to Confinement
for Abusing a Jury Man who was ~~upon~~ Charged Duty but the [above line: Charged]
Petit^rs being unacquainted with the Laws of this Isle did
not obey orders and for which disobedience they
remaine in Goal

Therefore your Petit^rs humbly pray your
Excellency would be graciously pleased to
