At a Tynwald Court Holden at CastleRushen
the 19^th March 1765 before his Hon^ble John
Wood Esq^r Governor, the Officers Deemsters
and Keys of this Isle

Whereas by an Act made at a Tynwald Court holden at
CastleRushen the 13^th day of May 1763. It was among
other Things provided and Enacted, that the Method of
Procedure by granting Stone Tokens should cease and
that all Proceedings should thereafter be Issued in Print or
Writing and that the several Judges and Magestrates of this
Isle should be intitled to the several Fees therein particularly
specified and Enacted. And Whereas it was ever the
true intent and meaning of the Legislature of this Isle and
expressly mentioned and Settforth in the Draught of
the said Act that the same as well as other Clauses in said
Act should continue and be of Force for the Term and Space
of Five Years and no longer. But the said Limitation
having been omitted in the Engrossment of the said Act
And not perceived till after the Publication thereof upon the
5^th day of July 1763 a Note was taken among the Acts
of that Day of the said Omission, And that the said
Act
