Inspired with Sentiments of Veneration and Respect
for the August Body we now address;

We humbly suggest the foregoing
Scheme, Apprehending that many Inconveniencys which attend the
present Constitution will be obviated; And that amongst unspeakable
Advantages, to the Country at large, one (not inconsiderable) will be,
an universal Satisfaction throughout all Ranks of people, and of
Consequence, a willing Conformity to all future Laws —

Upon any other Occasion, but that of
national Concern, we should apologize for having trespassed so
much upon your time and patience but considering that no
Principle speaks more powerfully in your Breasts, than the
patriotic one of doing public Good —

We therefore humbly Pray
that you will be graciously pleased
to consider the Matter of this our
Memorial, and pass the same into a
Law, with such Alterations and
Improvements as to your Wisdom
may seem meet —
