Heyres and Assignes for ever Yealdinge payinge & doinge to the said Earle
& his Heyres all such Rents, Services, Duties & Customes, as heretofore have
beene usuall & accustomed to bee yealded paid & done for the same And for
the better Confirmacon & makinge good of this p^rsent Gift & Grant of the said
Earle accordinge to the true Intent thereof, Hee the said Earle doth hereby
Give, Order, & Direct, that an Act shall bee made, published & declared forthe
Establishinge and Makinge good of the Estates of the said John Cannoll, John
Sharples and Rob^t Barrey of in & unto the Lands, Tenements, Milnes, Cottages
Intackes, Houses, & Hereditaments aforesaid to them & their Heyres for ever
accordinge to the Teno^r and Effect true Intent & Meaning of theise P^rsents—
And to that End & Purpose at this p^rsent Court of Tynwald houlden at S^t
Johns Chappell in the P'ish of K.K German this xxiiij^th of June 1650 It is
Enacted & Ordayned And bee it therefore hereby Enacted & Ordayned
by his Lopp and the Officers & xxiiij Keyes of this Island, whose Names are
subscribed That they the said John Cannoll, John Sharples and Rob^t Barrie
& their Heyres, shall for ever hereafter have, hould, occupie & enjoy all &
singular the said Mesuages Lands, Tenements, Milnes, Cottages, Intackes,
Closes & Hereditaments whatsoever, of, from & under the said Earle & his
Heyres for ever, under & upon the Rents, Services, Duties & Customes heretofore
usuall and accustomed to be yealded paid or done for the same Provided
alwaies and upon Condicon and neverthelss, the true Intent & meaninge of
