ſumption, ſhall be allowed to withdraw or diſcontinue his or her Entry of any Still-houſe or Store-houſe, whilſt any Duty therein ſhall be depending, or any Utenſils for brewing, fermenting, or diſtilling, ſhall be ſtanding; and that it ſhall and may be lawful for any Officer or Officers of Exciſe, belonging to the Diſtrict, to enter by Night, as well as by Day, by the uſual or moſt accuſtomed Doors or Paſſages, into all entered Still-houſes, and all other Places where Utenſils for brewing, fermenting, or diſtilling, are ſtanding, belonging to any Diſtiller or Maker of Low Wines and Spirits for Home Conſump- tion or Exportation; and if any Perſon or Perſons ſhall wilfully obſtruct any ſuch Officer or Officers of Exciſe from having free Ingreſs and Regreſs into and from any ſuch entered Still-houſe or Place, every ſuch Perſon ſhall, for every ſuch Offence, forfeit the Sum of Two hundred Pounds; and after any Obſtruction, it ſhall and may be lawful to and for ſuch Officer or Officers of Ex- ciſe, together with proper Aſſiſtance, to break open, by Force, any Doors leading or belonging to ſuch entered Still-houſe or Place, or any of the Windows thereof, or to break through any of the Walls, ſo far as is neceſ- ſary for obtaining Entrance thereinto: Provided al- ways, that nothing herein contained ſhall extend, or be conſtrued to extend, to prevent any Diſtiller from chang- ing his Entry for the making of Spirits for Home Con- ſumption, to an Entry for making of Spirits for Expor- tation, or from changing his Entry for the making of Spirits for Exportation, to an Entry for making of Spirits for Home Conſumption, ſo that every new En- try for the reſpective Purpoſes aforeſaid be made on the ſame Day whereon ſuch Diſtiller ſhall have withdrawn or diſcontinued his former Entry; but if the new En- try ſhall not be made on the ſame Day in which the former Entry ſhall be withdrawn, ſuch former Entry ſhall remain and continue in full Force.

XXXII. And be it further enacted, That if any Perſon actually occupying any Houſe, whether he or ſhe be the Owner or Renter thereof, ſhall knowingly permit any private Back or Still to be ſet up and uſed in any Part of
