Whereas the several persons who are named and described in the Schedule
herewith transmitted and mentioned to stand charged of diverse ffelonys —
committed in Great Britain, are apprehended to have made their escape —
to this Isle in hopes here to evade the punishment due to their Crimes In —
Order to detect and bring such offenders to Justice You are hereby strictly
Required and Commanded to cause due Publication of the said Schedule and
Descriptions to be made in the most general and effectual manner And
to charge all the good people of this Isle to make imediate discovery and
Information to me or any of the chief Officers Magistrates Captains and
Commanders of the Castles and fforts or the Deputy Searchers of this Isle
And to give their utmost Aid Assistance and Endeavours, So that All or any
such persons who shall be suspicious or answer to the said Descriptions
may be sent under a proper Guard to be examined by me And herein you
or any other person whom it may concern are not to fail at your peril —
Given at Castle Rushen this 21^st day of October 1763.
