The Humble petition and Appeal of Thomas
Corrin of the parish of KK Conchan

That M^r. John Christian of the Town of Douglas —
Merch^t, did in the year of our Lord 1764 — produce to your
petitioner a Note of hand from Marg^t. Callow of the said town
for the Sum of Eight pounds Seventeen Shillings and Nine
pence Brittish payable to Capt. Quayle Curghey or Order, and
required your petitioner being then Coron^r of the said Sheading
to lake the person of the Said Marg^t. Callow for the aforesaid —
Sum of Eight pounds Seventeen Shillings and Nine pence
Britt^h. with nine pence fees; that your petitioner Entered
the said Sum in his Book, and Demanded person from the
Said Marg^t. Callow for the Same, who Accordingly having
Complyed therewith, Your pet^r. did According to his Duty
and Office on the 21^th Day of July 1764 — pay the said —
Sum of Eight pounds Seventeen Shillings and Nine pence
Britt^h. and nine pence fees to the Said John Christian,
as by his Receit now in your pett^rs hand may more
at Large appear; That some time after your pett^r. was
out of his Said Office, the Said John Christian applyed to
your petitioner that he had a further Demand ag^t. the
said Marg^t. Callow for the Sum of five pounds Brittish,
