The Humble Petition and Claim
of John Stevenson of Largidoo —
Gentleman Christian Kolly of
Peeltown Widow and John Craine
of Peeltown all of the parish of
Kirk Gorman —

Showeth that your Pet^rs having at
different Times since the first of January
last, purchased from Sevral Persons
within this Island two Hundred and two
pounds of Tea's, viz^t forty nine pounds
weight of Congo, or twenty pounds of
Green and twenty pounds of Bohea —
was shewn of being the property of
the pet^r Christian Kolly, Sixty three
pounds weight of Bohea Tea being the
property of the pet^r John Stevenson
and fifty pounds weight of said
Bohea Tea being the property of
the pet^r John Craine, which said
Teas had paid Dutys according to
the Laws & Customs of this Island
in such Cases, and were left in the
Care and Custody of Thomas Woods &
Philip Collier yet so it is may it
